Market Engagement for Business Support and Business Incubation

Tender description

The provision of Business Support and Business Incubation services to Somerset-based businesses on behalf of Somerset County Council. This request for expressions of interest is issued solely for the purpose of conducting market engagement and does not constitute any commitment by the authority to undertake any procurement exercise in the future. Lot 1: Somerset County Council is seeking to hear from organisations that can provide business support and business incubation services to Somerset-based businesses. The business support service will primarily be focused on the Somerset Enterprise Centre Network with centres currently based in Barle, Bruton, Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Wells, Wheddon Cross, Williton, Wiveliscombe. The provider will work with the new Somerset Council and other relevant stakeholders to signpost, develop and provide appropriate programmes which enable Somerset-based businesses to access a range of business support (including grants). The provider will help to formulate a strategy to raise awareness of available business support and to ensure Somerset-based businesses are able to access support to help to promote economic growth in the county. Business support may be provided from set locations within the county (either publicly or privately owned workspace) or at business premises.
