Approval was provided by the Executive Committee to allow Care Group 2 (CG2) to investigate improving Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) facilities at Scarborough Hospital. CG2 requested that Capital Planning formulate a design and cost plan to refurbish/ decant services (discharge Team & Respiratory Team into new locations to allow SDEC extra accommodation (by extending into the old respiratory unit).
