Renewal of the NHS Building for Wales Framework NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) are exploring options for renewing the NHS Building for Wales Framework, which will cover construction works costing more than 7 million GBP. The framework will be based on the fundamental principles of collaborative working, integrated supply chains and continual improvement to deliver best value for money and develop best practice, sustainability and other core objectives on behalf of the Welsh Government. In anticipation of the upcoming renewal, NWSSP will be hosting "Meet the Buyer" events to engage with the market as detailed below. 7th December 2022, 9.30am - Midday at the Mercure Hotel North, Cardiff 15th December 2022, 9.30am - Midday at the Ramada Plaza, Wrexham All suppliers who are interested in learning more about the framework and tendering process are welcome to attend. Lot 1: NHS Building for Wales 2 Frameworks Lot 1: Works Value (ex VAT) 20M + GBP. NHS Building for Wales 2 Frameworks Lot 1: Works Value (ex VAT) 20M+. Building for Wales 2 Frameworks - Meet the buyer event NHS Wales Organisation are required by Welsh Government to procure all major capital construction projects via the Building for Wales framework. Currently depending on the works value of the project, the framework is divided regionally and nationally. It was awarded in April 2018 to cover all work contracts exceeding 4 million GBP and is due expire in April 2024. Since the current framework was introduced, 28 projects have been procured by NHS organisations. With the expiration of the current contract approaching, NWSSP wants to engage with the market regarding changes to the framework and to gain a better understanding of the market and any improvements that can be made to the new framework.
