Clinical Waste & Sharps Collection and Disposal

Tender description

This contract provides for a competent supplier to remove and dispose (off-site) of the clinical and washroom waste, including sharps, within Herefordshire Council establishments using the containers supplied by the supplier. The Supplier shall be responsible for: 1. Ensuring the safe collection, treatment and environmentally sound disposal of Clinical and Washroom Waste 2. Supplying a sufficient quantity of the appropriate containers 3. Ensuring that all containers (and related machinery) owned by the Supplier is fully and adequately maintained and is fit for purpose 4. Compliance with any and all legislative requirements.
