Tender description

Salford City Council (the Authority) is inviting tenders for a multiple contractor minor works Framework Agreement which will be used to appoint Contractors for specialist construction, repairs and refurbishment works. The specialist services required can include, but are not limited to: • Joinery • Roofing & Cladding • General Building Work • Excavation and Earthworks • Concrete Works • Brickwork, Block work and Stonework • Plumbing • Heating and Ventilation • Electrical Installations • Floor, Wall and Ceiling Finishes • Windows/Glazing • Painting and Decorating • Drainage Works • External Works. • Mechanical Engineering • Any other works of a similar nature Lot 1: General Building Work <£350k The works in this Lot will typically comprise the following:  External building fabric repairs and maintenance  Gutters, fascia, downpipes, roofs, render, brick, stone, windows, doors  Internal building repairs  Vandal damage, water damage, repairs to doors, windows, replacement flooring, kitchen and toilet area repairs, redecorations, minor alteration  Selective interventions throughout an existing building  Small internal building refurbishments and alterations  New and refurbished kitchens  New and refurbished toilet areas, shower rooms and cloak rooms  Fire protection works (doors, ceiling voids, escape doors)  Teaching area refurbishments (new ceilings, lighting, partitions, wall openings, flooring, fixtures, doors, sinks)  Office area alterations and refurbishments  Flood and fire damage repairs  Disabled access upgrades — ramps, handrails, doors  Small extensions  Kitchen blocks, toilet blocks,  Associated M & E provision Lot 2: General Building Works >£350k-£750k The works in this Lot will typically comprise the following: General Building Works Roofing and Cladding Works Windows/Glazing replacement Doors and Auxiliary systems Associated M & E provision Painting and Decorating Classroom extensions Alterations and remodeling
