GB-Luton: Chaul End Building Works - Maternity

Tender description

The Trust wish to go out to formal tender and appoint a contractor to undertake the works and integrate the existing buildings mechanical & electrical services including ventilation into the proposed conversion works at Chaul End Community Centre, to create a Maternity Hub within part the existing facility on the First floor which has been leased to the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital for an initial 5 years. Works at Chaul End Community Centre will see the conversion of the 'Activity Room' 301.71sqft, 'Admin office' 441.54 sqft to provide 6 consultation rooms. Smaller adaptation of the current 'Meeting Room 2 & 3' will provide a waiting area and the remaining Meeting Room and Staff Room will provide a telephone appointment consultation room and admin space. This will include all necessary clinical requirements, ventilation/air flow, insulation, sound proofing and adaptions onto existing services for electrical and mechanical adaptions as specified. The works will be at the Luton Borough Council Premises:- Chaul End Community Centre, 515 Dunstable Road, Luton, LU4 8QN.
