Tender description

East Dunbartonshire Council require the removal and replacement of the existing modular site accommodation at Mavis Valley Recycling Centre, Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs. East Dunbartonshire Council require a Contractor to act as principal designer providing an innovative design for a modular site accommodation and plan its construction/installation. The design, materials and all works must comply with all relevant standards to ensure suitability for intended use at all times. The design must consider sustainable development (including energy efficiency, use of sustainable materials, and reduction of pollution and use of renewable energy. The design MUST be scalable and relocatable. The schemes must be designed, supplied, assembled and constructed to comply with relevant and appropriate Acts, Byelaws, Statutory rules, Orders and Regulations. The Contractor must manufacture the modular site accommodation according to the design developed, remove the existing modular site accommodation and appropriate disposal and replace/Install the existing modular site accommodation. The Contractor must ensure that the new unit matches the existing modular site accommodation in size, orientation and position.
