Tender description

Bantry General Hospital (BGH) is an Acute Hospital and provides services to the population of West Cork and South Kerry. BGH has over 120 in-patients and day-case beds providing acute General Hospital services. Due to continued demand, it is now proposed to create a dedicated Ambulance set-down area to the front of the Hospital, with dedicated access being created through the existing Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) facility. Works will include removal of external ramps and steps; Construction of Ambulance set-down with canopy structure; Creation of access to the Hospital through the MAU facility, with all necessary alteration works internally within the Hospital to facilitate same.
