Construction of a New UTC at Ipswich Hospital

Tender description

The works will comprised of, but was not be limited to: The construction of a new 2-storey building (approximately 2 800 m2) at the front of the hospital site. N.B. The first floor will not be fitted out and will be constructed to a shell standard only. Refurbishment of an existing ground floor department (approximately 1 425 m2). Reconfiguration of existing access ways and new paved areas. Lot 1: The project was tendered via a traditional procurement route including a supplier questionnaire qualification process against a fully designed design information and schedules of works. The form of contact will be JCT Standard Building Contract without quantities incorporating sectional completion and contractors design provisions.
