Tender description

Scheme 1- C129/1/80 - Cravengate. Works include footway construction including installation of conservation kerbing, The removal of the existing road humps and carriageway resurfacing. include the reduction of carriageway, Drainage works, Traffic sign installation and reinstatement of road markings. Scheme 2- U428/1/20 - Low Lane - Browna Gill Culvert. Works include construction of the collapsed section of the culvert. New section of the culvert is to be constructed in stone and backed with concrete. New training walls and parapet are to be built along with concrete aprons. Scheme 3 - C35/3/10 - West Scrafton Culvert. The collapsed section of deck slab is to be rebuilt in reinforced concrete comprising a 200mm thick slab with stainless steel reinforcement. Concrete to be C40/50. The existing stonework parapet at the north end of the culvert is to be dismantled to facilitate the installation of the new slab following which it will be rebuilt using the existing stone in a 1:1:6 mortar.
