Tender description
North Yorkshire County Council (the Authority) is requesting information from bus operators in order to understand what is available in the market, including outcomes, to assist with drafting a future tender specification. The Authority has been operating a successful DRT bus service pilot in the Ripon, Bedale and Masham area since 1 July 2021. To date, the pilot service has been provided in-house, and the Authority wants to explore the wider market place to ensure value for money. Operators are asked to advise if they would be interested in bidding for this opportunity as part of their response to the RFI.
