Tender description

The works will involve repairs/replacement to the external fabric, including (but not limited to) the following: - replacement of slates with bangor blue natural slates - repairs (replacement) to roof timbers - repair (replacement) of floor timbers (built into external walls) - specialist timber treatments (eradication of rot) - roof lead repairs and replacements - flat roof replacements - renewal of rainwater goods - roof space insulation - replacement and refurbishment to the external render - masonry wall dry rot irrigation/sterilisation - re-pointing and sand blasting brickwork/stonework - re-pointing and sand blasting chimneys - re-potting chimneys - cleaning chimneys and venting chimney flues - window repairs, replacements and seals - replacing timber window lintels - installation of french drains along perimeter - some separation of combined drainage systems where appropriate Some of the external repairs will necessitated works to the internal fabric particularly where windows, floor joists and rafter ends are being replaced/repaired and will involve working around Services provided from Block R The above list is only intended to give contractors a feel for the works.
