The Puffin Produce Ltd. plant is a purpose-built 6600m2 vegetable processing site, to be constructed commissioned by 2023, on a green field site at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. It aims to process, package and distribute authentic Welsh potatoes locally as well asmarkets nationally.The facility will also comprise of cold storage of product within the northern half of the building. The manufacturing operation plans to operate six days per week, Monday to Saturday inclusive.The facility is designed to meet the highest standards in the veg prep industry and aims to be accredited to the latest BRC standard. The building will need to be designed, constructed and commissioned to meet BREEAM Excellent standard and suppliers must ensure that all goods and services provided will meet the relevant sections of the BREEAM standard.The invitation to tender is in respect of quotes for the installation of Industrial and Pedestrian doors within the new facility.
