Peterlee Town Council are seeking to appoint a single Contractor to design and install a new skate park adjacent to existing tennis courts and MUGA provision on the Council's site at Eden Lane, Peterlee SR8 5DJ Lot 1: Peterlee Town Council are seeking to appoint a single Contractor to design and install a new skate park adjacent to existing tennis courts and MUGA provision on the Council's site at Eden Lane, Peterlee SR8 5DJ Peterlee Town Council is a local council serving the people of Peterlee, in East Durham. The Council consists of 22 elected Members and has a staff team of around 40, plus casual staff, sports coaches and volunteers. The Council manages over 400 acres of public space in the town, as well as a number of venues such as the beautiful Shotton Hall conference & banqueting centre and the Pavilion sports & community centre. Peterlee has a population of around 20,000 residents You are invited to tender on a contract to work in partnership with Peterlee Town Council for the Consultation, Design and Construction of a concrete skate park on Council land at Eden Lane, Peterlee. Preliminary funding of £110,000 has been secured for the project but the Town Council is open to ideas about how this could be increased through additional external grant funding and it has an upper target project value of £150,000 + VAT if additional funding can be identified.
