The appointment of a contractor to undertake the required refurbishment works of the changing facilities in the basement of the Dental school.The works comprise of; the alteration and refurbishment of the basement level changing rooms of School of Dentistry, Heath Park, Cardiff. CF14 4XY. Together with all associated works and as detailed in the following Tender Specification.A budget estimate for the construction value only has been confirmed as £120k (Excluding Vat).The building will be live and occupied throughout the proposed programme of works so measures must be taken to ensure staff and students are not impeded or disrupted by excessive noise, dust or vibration and that safe access is always maintained.Works to be carried out in separate phasesPhase 1 Female Toilets and Changing RoomsPhase 2 Male Toiles and Changing RoomsPhase 3 CorridorsThis information is scheme-specific.The proposed works are located within the lower ground floor of the School of DentistryAccess is to be via the rear service ramp, double doors and corridorsThe works will be carried out outside normal term time hours but the area will still be occupied by staff and students.
