Tender description

The proposed works involve the installation of an additional 26no. MAG Meters with Loggers to be connected to the current system that is managed through the existing online platform. The new MAG Meters and Logger must be fully compatible with the previously installed apparatus; this document details the specification of the existing MAG Meters and Loggers and it is expected that the successful contractor will supply identical equipment or equivalent. The new meters will be located throughout the Harbour and this document will outline the works required at each location with some of the meters and loggers having to be installed on the underside of pier structures which involves particular risks This point must be emphasised that these works involve working near to and over deep water and this must be fully understood and incorporated within the works planning and costs. To install 26no. MAG 8000 Meters and 26no. MacR6 N Data Logger or equivalent in the Marine Environment. These works involve working over or near deep water at all times and this must be considered in your tender submission. A small vessel or barge/ raft will be required, and tide times will dictate when works can commence and cease on a daily basis.
