Tender description

Invitation to established fencing contractors to tender for the contract to erect 5 km of deer proof fencing around the perimeter of woodland section of Uragh Wood Nature Reserve, Tousist, Kenmare Co. Kerry (O.S Ref V835 625). 1. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) of the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage wish to invite tenders for the supply of fencing services to replace an existing fence line around the approximately 5 kilometres of the woodland portion of the Uragh Wood Nature Reserve , Lough Inchiquin, near Tousist, Kenmare ,Co. Kerry. As part of the formal Conservation Measures for this site the new fence will serve to eliminate grazing by trespassing deer and other livestock. NPWS will be supplying the bulk , if not all, of the fencing materials
