Newtown School – Post Primary School Redevelopment – Phase 1 (Electrical Installations)

Tender description

Extension to the existing historic Newtown School campus involving demolition of 5 no. existing classroom blocks and construction of a new three storey Classroom Block extension including passenger lift and Special Educational Needs Block (5,339m2), new single storey PE Facility building (1,149m2), new vehicular entrance, car parking, boundary wall realignment, new substation and construction store, together with associated landscaping and external works. All within the curtilage of two Protected Structures. Reserved specialists shall be pre-selected for Mechanical and Electrical Installations, directly and separately tendered by the Contracting Authority for appointment by the main contractor upon award of the main contract. Mechanical and Electrical reserved specialists’ role shall consist of the installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical installations including sub-specialists works associated with the works.
