Coleg Sir Gar, hereinafter referred to as “CSG”, and/or “the College” wish to commission a contractor with significant experience in construction of a horse riding arena to undertake the necessary works in relation to the refurbishment of the indoor riding arena at our Pibwrlwyd Campus, in Carmarthen.Campus Address: Coleg Sir Gar, Pibwrlwyd Campus, Pibwrlwyd, Carmarthen, SA31 2NHThe current indoor arena was opened in 2004 and enables our Equine Students, of all ages and abilities, the flexibility to ride and train in all weathers, as well as proving a suitable environment for disabled riders. The current structure is a steel-framed building with fabric netting sides erected over the ménage. The arena also has lighting, and is commonly used by local pony and riding clubs for training and competitions.The purpose of this tendering opportunity is to source an appropriate Contractor with the capacity and capability to undertake such refurbishment works.
