Herefordshire Council Market Engagement Event Section 106 Portfolio Highways, Education, Off Site Play/Open Space and Sports Construction Programmes

<p>Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering a number of construction schemes across Highways , Education , Play and open space and Sports facilities. The event will be on the 12th July 2022, 11:00am &ndash; 12:30pm via Microsoft teams. As part of Herefordshire Council&rsquo;s Section 106 Portfolio there are various schemes within the Highways, Education, Off Site Play/Open Space and Sports Works Programmes that will require constructing. Schemes could include: &bull; Minor Highways Works - footways, cycleways, pedestrian crossings and traffic calming, etc. &bull; Educational Infrastructure/Facilities &ndash; additional classroom space, toilet facilities, physiotherapy rooms and storage improvements, etc. &bull; Off Site Play/Open Space &ndash; provision of recreational facilities, new formal play areas and improvement of open spaces, etc. &bull; New Sports Facilities &ndash; provision/improvement of indoor facilities, outdoor sports, such as hockey, rugby, cricket, football, etc and changing rooms, etc. The event will cover a range of topics including information of where to find council opportunities, how to successfully bid for them and specific information about some imminent and upcoming opportunities together with opportunities to ask questions and network.</p> Keywords: construction, s106, herefordshire, building, works
