PME for East Riding of Yorkshire Council Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Solutions

East Riding of Yorkshire Council are seeking the markets views on EV Charging Solutions. Suppliers have an opportunity to answer questions on EV Charging solutions within this exercise. The council hopes that an effective and significant market engagement process can lead to benefits for both the authority and supplier, giving them the opportunity to promote innovation and improve value for money in contracts. The outcomes of the market engagement will be used to shape the business need, define the any contract requirements and develop the commercial options. Our aim is to make the market engagement a two-way conversation, both providing information to the market and eliciting feedback as well as: - Remaining open, transparent and fair with the market - Communicating our requirements - Shape and develop the business requirements and specification - Stimulate the market to offer innovative solutions - Be open minded on how we can do things differently - Ensure validity of our requirements - Optimise commercial outcomes for both parties - Utilise industry and specialist knowledge of EV Charging This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) is not a call for competition. The PME is an opportunity for the Authority to seek responses from the market in a transparent, fair manner in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
