CREW / Comhoibriu CLG are seeking expressions of interest from Building Contractors who have a minimum turnover of between €3m up to €6m for the proposed construction of a new enterprise/ innovation hub at the GMIT Cluain Mhuire campus on a site adjoining the Wellpark/ Monivea Road, Galway City. The works provide for the development of a stand-alone two storey office building comprising 1,266 Sq M over two levels. The development will provide a flexible multi-unit co-working space for start-up and fledgling companies, enhancement of existing pedestrian routes, cycle and car parking, hard and soft landscaping, connections to existing services and utilities and related ancillary site works on the existing GMIT site at Cluain Mhuire, Galway Interested parties should submit their expression of interest to include the following: • Date company founded • Confirmation of Tax Clearance status • Evidence of participation in pension/ sick pay scheme • Confirmation of turnover for the past three years • Confirmation of insurances – Employer’s Liability, Public Liability, Bond Statement and All Risks • Technical Capacity – Management staff; operatives in CIF Scheme • Resume of 3 no. similar sized projects completed within the past five years confirming project value and size • Confirmation of quality control systems in place, i.e. ISO cert/ other • Health & Safety statement, safety personnel, reportable accidents • Provide 3 no. references in respect of similar sized projects completed within the past 5 years. Brochures should not be submitted with the expression of interest. It is intended that a maximum of five contractors will be shortlisted for tender purposes. The deadline for receipt of expressions of interest is 3.00pm on 18th February 2022.
