<p>This is an information notice only - Please see below and do not respond via the expression of interest window - any expression's of interests received via this advert will not be processed as this is an information notice only - please follow the instructions, below.&nbsp;</p> <p>Wiltshire Council intends to go to market for the Salisbury Park and Ride service, currently operating from 5 car parks on the outskirts of Salisbury, Wiltshire. This will be achieved via utilising the current Wiltshire Council Passenger Transport Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), Lot 1 - Large Vehicles &gt; 16 Seats Public Transport and Education.</p> <p>This information notice is to give suppliers the opportunity to sign-up to Wiltshire Council's DPS and to inform the wider market regarding our intentions with retendering this service, in order to maintain openness and provide equal opportunity to all bidders who may not currently be registered to the Council's DPS and who may be interested in operating this service.</p> <p>If suppliers wish to apply for this service, please join the DPS where the opportunity will be advertised. Outline joining instructions are below:</p> <p>The Salisbury Park &amp; Ride scheme is designed to offer a high quality alternative to parking in Salisbury City Centre, using 5 car parks on the outskirts of the City which are linked to the centre by a regular, reliable, and comfortable bus service. The service operates every day except Sundays and it is envisaged that a minimum of 10 vehicles would be needed to operate the full service. A small number of public transport journeys may also be included that operate at times when some of the buses would otherwise be sat idle. In order to ensure that a high quality service is provided at all times, an expanded set of requirements will apply to these contracts and will be attached to the service specification.</p> <p>To apply for routes for Wiltshire Council, you will need to do this via the DPS.
