CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI-USE GAMES AREA(80m x 20m) AND UPGRADE OF FLOODLIGHTING TO MAIN PLAYING PITCH AT BORNACOOLA GAA CLUB, DROMOD, CO. LEITRIM.

Tender description

The construction (a) a MULTI-USE GAMES AREA (80m x 20m) on the grounds of Bornacoola GAA club. Works for the proposed MUGA will include the installation of a Drainage network using 100mm diameter pipes. A 150mm x 50m kerb will be constructed along the perimeter of the play area. Playing surface to be artificial grass, 60mm deep with silica sand and crumb rubber infill on a 50mm deep layer of quarry screenings on angular stone with a geotextile layer beneath. A 2.4m high type ‘868’ mesh perimeter fence will be installed on the outer periphery of the proposed facility with 3.6m high ball netting installed above. Lighting will be provided by 6 no 12m high heavy-duty columns with Philips ‘Clear Flood’ led lighting heads attached. Concrete footpaths will be constructed to facilitate access from existing walkways to the new facility.(b) Upgrade to floodlighing to main Playing Pitch Lot 242449: CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI-USE GAMES AREA(80m x 20m) AND UPGRADE OF FLOODLIGHTING TO MAIN PLAYING PITCH AT BORNACOOLA GAA CLUB GROUNDS (a) Construction of a Multi-Use Games area(80m x 20m) complete with all ancillaries including site preparation, installation of drainage, kerbs, artificial surface, fencing including gates, ball-netting, floodlighting and concrete paths. (b) Upgrade to floodlighting on Main Playing pitch to include trenching, ducting, installation of poles and floodlighting lamps.Please see attached 'Invitation to Tender and Scope of Works' in Documents section.
