Beaver enclosure works at Bircham Valley

<p>Plymouth City Council (&ldquo;the Council&rdquo;) have issued an invitation to tender for the design and construction of a beaver enclosure in Bircham Valley, Plymouth. The appointment will be a Design and Build commission, and the scope of the works will include:</p> <p>1)The design of the enclosure in accordance with the specification documents. This will include submitting the design to the Council&rsquo;s technical advisors and obtaining approvals to progress.</p> <p>2)Taking full responsibility for the Flood Defence Consent process, including preparing and submitting the application, responding to queries and obtaining full permissions.</p> <p>3)Planning approval may be required (a pre-app has been submitted whose results will be known by the time this appointment is made). If required, the successful tenderer will be required to take responsibility for the planning process to achieve necessary consents.</p> <p>4)Following completion of the above activities, to construct the final design and obtain necessary sign-offs as required in the specification.</p> <p>A site visit will be available on <strong>Friday 13^th May 2022.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Council have issued a procurement via Supplying The South West portal (www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk) with a submission deadline of <strong>24th May 2022 </strong>(noon).
