Tender description

The scope of work for the Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Upgrade Emergency works project at Coláiste an Átha includes as follows:- a) Isolation, removal of the existing redundant Fire Detection and Alarm equipment and full strip out of existing redundant cabling and containment services and disposal to a licenced waste facility following commissioning of the new FDAS systems b) Provision of segregated containment systems as required to fully contain all new FDAS wiring and cabling systems c) Provision of new dedicated power supplies for the Fire Detection and Alarm System and equipment in accordance with IS3218 d) Provision of a new Category L3 Fire Detection & Alarm System throughout the campus to current IS3218:2013+A1:2019 standard e) All associated alterations to the existing electrical services installations f) All associated builders and civil works, including new ducting, opening up, re-instating, making good, weatherproofing, fire proofing and re-decoration to match existing finishes g) Testing & commissioning and certification of the upgraded FDAS Systems and associated electrical installations h) Full contract clean of the entire school buildings prior to handover i) Maintenance of the new installations for the defects liability period (12 months) The Electrical Contractor shall supply all labour, materials, equipment and engineering services, and perform all works necessary to install the complete, tested, commissioned, and operational Heating Systems in accordance with the Specification and Drawings
