Adaptation and Refurbishment Works to two Children & Family Centres (CFC's) at Cotmandene CFC and Blenheim CFC

Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley invite contractors to tender for adaptation, alteration and refurbishment works at two Children & Family Centres (CFC's) at Cotmandene CFC, 103 & 105-107 Cotmandene Crescent, Orpington BR5 2RB and Blenheim CFC, Blenheim Road, Orpington, BR6 9BH. The works at both sites are to be combined under one JCT Intermediate with contractor's design 2016 (ICD16) form of contract. The works at Cotmandene CFC comprise the adaptation and refurbishment of an existing vacant former retail unit adjacent to the existing CFC, plus localised alterations and connection of the existing CFC to the new. The works at Blenheim CFC comprise localised internal and external alterations and refurbishment to relocate the reception area and rearrange existing internal areas to provide new facilities. Works are programmed to commence in January 2022 and complete in May 2022. The works at both sites will involve work within premises occupied by staff, visitors and children, albeit at Cotmandene this is limited to the work to the existing CFC.
