NWL2022 Access to In and Out of Hours Anticipatory Medicines from Community Pharmacies Services

Tender description

The aim of the service is to provide service users with prompt access to a range of palliative care and specialist medications when they are required, the demand for these specialist medicines maybe urgent and / or unpredictable. • The supplier will co-ordinate/administer an in and out of hours network of local community pharmacy contractors, to a maximum of 15 community pharmacies per borough for in hours, to keep available for dispensing medicines listed on the agreed formulary for dispensing in and out of hours for NHS NWL CCG boroughs. This will include managing the out-of-hours rota of participating pharmacies. The Middlesex Pharmaceutical Group is providing this service for all 8 boroughs of NWL CCG. The contracts were extended / varied or put in place following an RFQ exercise as per below: Brent - Contract extension Ealing & Hounslow - Contract extension and variation Harrow - Contract extension and variation Hillingdon - Contract extension and variation Central London, Hammersmith and Fulham - New contract following RFQ exercise. The value of this notice is the combined value of all the contracts for all 8 boroughs.
