KMCIRS-131 Sale of portfolio of 5 sites in Kirklees Council’s Registered Provider Cluster Programme

<p>This is a competitive land sales exercise in which the council will seek and assess bids from current or intended Strategic Registered Provider Partners of Homes England (referred to&nbsp;as &ldquo;Strategic Registered Provider Partners&rdquo;) to become the council&rsquo;s Preferred Partner to deliver this housing development programme of approximately 290 homes, based on Local Plan development density assumptions, subject to development constraints, and planning permission being granted.</p> <p>Five sites which are allocated for housing in the Kirklees Local Plan are being released for sale and development through this exercise. This is part of Kirklees&rsquo; &lsquo;Big Build&rsquo; housing growth programme to deliver 10,000 homes over 5 years. 1,000 of these homes will be built on council owned land.</p> <p>The council is inviting Strategic Registered Provider Partners to bid through this competitive process to acquire and develop the portfolio of sites for market and affordable housing.</p> Keywords: Strategic Partner, Affordable Homes Programme, Registered Provider, Cluster, Land Sale, Sites
