Roller Shutter Door Mofifications at Gofer Bulking Station Abergele

Tender description

The scheme involves the enlargement of the original entrance doors for waste wagons to bays 1 to 4 at Gofer Bulking Station, Abergele. The height of the doors is to be raised by approximately 1m so that they have the same clearance as the doors to bays 5 and 6 which were installed later in a building extension. The roller shutter doors are to be taken down and set aside. The cladding and flashings above the doors are to be taken down and set aside or temporarily supported to allow the door lintels to be removed and re-installed at a higher level. The removed doors are to be modified or replaced to fit the increased opening height and re-installed and connected to power and control cables. Doors to be tested for safe operation after re-installation.
