PEACE IV SHARED SPACES - CASTLEDERG GREENWAY PROJECT RESTRICTED LIST APPLICATION PRINCIPAL CONTRACTOR - T ENV21-002

Tender description

The contract involves the construction of new asphalt concrete public paths within the grounds of St Eugenes GAA Club, Castlederg Co. Tyrone. The Works will also involve cleaning an existing drainage ditch and forming a shallow earth berm plus the erection of fencing/ gates and general street furniture. As part of the project a few existing items of wooden play equipment will be required to be uplifted and re-installed of the line of the new path. Whilst Council will secure agreement in principle for the Works to be undertaken, Contractors will be expected to liaise with the football club regarding arrangements for plant access or site compounds etc. Due to the sites close proximity to public footpaths, parks and roads, (which will remain live during the contract period), health and safety considerations shall be paramount and the successful Contractor will be required to plan and price the contract accordingly taking due account of the above constraints.
