Tender description

The Council is leading improvements on the A595 at Bothel through a strategic highway scheme that seeks to improve connectivity between Carlisle and West Cumbria. Stage 1 includes the detailed design of the A595 Torpenhow Junction. The detailed design will further develop the preliminary design completed in Dec 2021. Stage 2 includes the construction of the A595 Torpenhow Junction. Stage 1 only for Design has been awarded via further competition using the Capital Works Framework.
