Award of Demolition of lock ups and other non permanent structures

Tender description

The lock-up garage sites will include asbestos removal, as per asbestos reports, demolition and ground works on a site by site basis. Ongoing demolition of lock up garage sites across Clackmannanshire to remove run-down and potentially hazardous buildings to make way for car parking, or where appropriate, new housing development. Before submitting a tender the Contractor shall visit the sites based on the drawings, as attached, to ascertain the nature and extent of the work involved. The tender shall include information enabling the costs incidental to the demolition of the work to be accurately assessed. Four sites are initially identified and are of various construction type as outlined in the garage report attached. Maps of the first four sites are attached, further sites will be identified by the Council annually for the duration of the contract.
