Tender description

The scheme involves the internal and external refurbishment of an existing occupied fold building. The residents of the Fold are of varying needs, age and mobility. The following works will be undertaken – - Pre Demolition asbestos surveys and reports - Repairs to Roofing, velux’s, rainwater goods and eaves - Insulation upgrading - Construction of Dormer - Repairs and replacement to floor, wall and ceiling finishes to communal areas. - Repairs and renewals of internal doors and screens within communal areas - Provision of new wall panelling to communal areas - Internal redecoration works to communal areas - Repairs and replacement to fittings and furniture to communal rooms incl Communal toilets and showers - Fire protection works to service risers and within roof void - Additional fire protection works and fire stopping as identified within Fire Inspection Report - New signage - Mechanical and electrical works throughout as per M and E Drawings - Significant works to Flat Nr 1 including new dpc, drylining and re-plastering, kitchen and bathroom repairs, internal door and frame renewals and complete external re-render - Works to conservatory windows and roof - Selective window renewal - Repair and replacement to floor, wall and ceiling finishes and replacement of all sanitaryware to bathrooms of flats - Fire protection works - External works include repairs to paths, walls, fences, redecoration and signage Full detail of the works are provided in the Procurement Documents.
