Worcestershire County Council has a significant programme of major infrastructure and transportation projects in development and delivery (greater than c.£5M). We use a range of procurement strategies and contracts such as design undertaken by our term professional services provider, then construction by a contractor, or a design and build model, using a suitable published form of contract, for example NEC. Worcestershire County Council (WCC) requires independent advice and assurance from a body outside of its project teams at various checkpoints in its projects. The Service is to provide independent technical advice and assurance as and when required for transport and highways infrastructure projects. These projects are banded as Minor (Up to £1m), Non-Major (£1m to £5m), Major (over £5m). All tender documents can be accessed on the portal.
