Renovation of houses at 2-16 Aquarium Street, Rhyl

Tender description

There are 8 no. terraced houses at 2-16 Aquarium Street in Rhyl which have mainly been used as Houses in Multiple Occupation. These were purchased by Welsh Government as part of the West Rhyl Housing Improvement Project. They were sold to Denbighshire Council on the understanding that they would be renovated and their floor space reduced in order that they could be made available as four/five-bedroom affordable family homes. This contributes towards achieving the aims of the West Rhyl Housing Improvement Project by improving the quality of homes and improving the mix of housing tenures in the area. The proposal will enable works to be carried out to the properties to reduce their size and deliver modern, energy efficient affordable family homes
