Provision of Consultant/Judge for Carlow’s Pride of Place Competition

Carlow County Council are seeking the services of an experienced Consultant/Judge to prioritise fresh ideas and new inputs to reinvigorate and modernise this competition. This will be developed in partnership with the Community Section of Carlow County Council and within the competition’s year schedule. The Consultant/Judge will have to undertake the following tasks: • Support the development of the application and application process • Carry out, as a minimum, 2 workshops in a competition year • Judge the applicants that will involve visiting each group, town, village, and housing estate that have entered the competition for 2022 throughout County Carlow and complete a marking sheet for each. • Provide a written report, which will include feedback, for each entrant in each of the categories they have entered. • Participate in launch and the award ceremony events including PR obligations which will include interviews and contribution to press releases. • Provide an end of year evaluation of the competition year
