Swindon Carriageway Resurfacing / Structural Patching

Tender description

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of resurfacing/structural patching of sections of roads in Swindon which have been identified as in need of essential highway maintenance as detailed in the specification and drawings (including the provision of all traffic management to complete the works). Two packages of works are proposed to be delivered within one contract package. The patching/resurfacing works (and associated pre-works) for the combined package will include (where necessary): • Carriageway patching/resurfacing • Replacement of existing kerbing • Adjustment of existing ironwork • Replacement of road markings • Replacement of High Friction Surfacing • Replacement of Traffic Loops • Provision of suitable traffic management proposals and on site (including necessary associated advance signage and diversions) to accommodate the work within constraints outlined within the tender documentation. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The initial contract term will be for 12 weeks as stated in the ITT documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued on the ProContract tender portal.
