BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RATIONALISATION, ADDITIONAL METERING AND SENSOR INSTALLATION

Tender description

The works comprise the amalgamation of several different BMS sites into a single user interface which will show building energy usage data and fault status for all connected buildings. Further to this the system will also issue alert emails to a predetermined list of staff where a fault has occurred or the building has exceeded the set parameters of the system. The works will also include the installation of additional monitoring equipment such as room temperature monitors and heat meters in order to increase the quality and usefulness of data available to users. Prospective Contractors are invited to tender for the above works. The procurement shall be as outlined within this notice and consists of the contract documents for the priced works along with an ESPD document to be filled in by contractor who are not already part of the Orkney Islands Council Dynamic Procurement System (DPS). Should a contractor already be part of this system then they are pre-qualified for this tender process. Any award of this tender will be subject to the contractor passing the ESPD assessment if they haven't already done so.
