Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new food grade powder sieving and packaging plant

Kilfera Food Manufacturers are seeking proposals from suitably qualified companies, for inclusion in the tender for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new food grade powder sieving, packaging and automatic palletising plant. The new equipment will be used in conjunction with an existing powder blending plant. The main components of the process are: I. 1 x sifter to be supplied with a 2 mm and a 4 mm screen. The machine must be able to process/scalp 10 tonnes of powder per hour. II. 1 x bag filling line with an automatic bag presenter, weight control, powder de-aerating and dust extraction pipes to an existing dust extraction system. Bags will be filled between a range of 10 kgs and 25 kgs. The filling line will be filled from an existing hopper and auger which will be retained unless the equipment supplier thinks otherwise. The bags will be paper sacks with a polypropylene liner or polypropylene sacks. The capacity of this line will be 4-5 bags per minute. III. I x bag closing line incorporating bag stretching, heat sealing and taping (No thread stitching). This will receive bags from the bag filling line and will deliver full bags of product onto an existing kicker, bag flattener and metal detector. The capacity of this line will be 4-5 bags per minute. IV. I x automatic palletiser with a capacity of 4-5 bags per minute (to match filling and closing equipment). The unit will receive full bags of product from the existing metal detector and bag flattener. All surfaces that are in direct contact with raw materials and final product must be constructed of 316 stainless steel.
