T ENV21-113 Supply and Installation of Strathfoyle Inclusive Play Equipment

Tender description

This contract is for the provision of inclusive play equipment within the existing “Strathfoyle Play Park” owned by Derry City and Strabane District Council, in order to facilitate accessibility to DDA compliant play equipment for the benefit of the local and greater communities. It is envisaged that as a minimum, the proposed infrastructure (which must be DDA compliant) will generate the following works: Supply/assembly/installation of play equipment and safety surfacing (Incl. Supply of a RoSPA/Rpii post-installation inspection report). The works will also include minor earthworks, civil engineering, drainage and soft landscaping. Due to the location of the proposed works being within an existing play facility, Derry City and Strabane District Council proposes to close the facility to the public throughout the entire duration of the works for obvious Health and Safety reasons. Health and Safety considerations during those works shall be paramount and the successful Contractor will be required to price, plan and implement the contract accordingly taking due account of all necessary Health and Safety precautionary measures.
