Repairs to roof of Grade 2 listed Cemetery Chapels

Tender description

To erect all necessary scaffolding required to safely carry out this work and dismantle upon completion. Strip off the existing roof coverings keeping reusable slates and dispose of all rubbish. Strip out the existing lead gutters and replace with new code 6 lead and associated code 4 lead. Re-slate using new Glendyne 61 Ox305mm slates on one elevation and possibly a porch, feature slates to be dressed on site. Remaining roof slopes to be slated in the existing slates laid on and including 50x25mm graded batten and Tyvek breatherable membrane. Ridge to be replaced with new Redbank Body Mix (black) slotted roll top ridge and feature inserts. Lead flashings to be provided comprising of code 3 lead soakers and code 4 cover flashings
