Tender description

Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin wishes to conduct preliminary market consultations with interested parties in relation to the operation of a co-working and innovation hub on Grand Canal Quay. The establishment of the innovation hub and associated café is the first step in the delivery of the proposed internationally leading Grand Canal Innovation District. Trinity would like to discuss the opportunity with experienced service providers with a view to better understand the offerings available in the market. In particular, Trinity would like to discuss a fully outsourced solution along with possible partnership arrangements. Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin wishes to conduct preliminary market consultations with interested parties in relation to the operation of a co-working and innovation hub on Grand Canal Quay. The establishment of the innovation hub and associated café is the first step in the delivery of the proposed internationally leading Grand Canal Innovation District. Trinity would like to discuss the opportunity with experienced service providers with a view to better understand the offerings available in the market. In particular, Trinity would like to discuss a fully outsourced solution along with possible partnership arrangements. The innovation hub is a 5 500 m2 co-working and collaboration facility which will provide space for early-stage start-ups, research-active corporates, a meeting space to activate the innovation community in Dublin and a programme of activities for people who work and live in the local community. The development of the innovation hub will also include a public square with seating and is adjacent to the restaurant/café located within the hub. It is envisaged that the innovation hub and associated restaurant/café will be operational in the first half of 2022. It is envisaged that preliminary market consultation will take place from w/c 25 January 2021. Interested parties are requested to express their interest via eTenders and use the messaging facility to contact the contracting authority. Please note, this is not a call for competition. Trinity does not guarantee that a follow-up call for competition will be published.
