Soft Market Testing for De Beauvior Estate

<p>This is a soft market testing exercise being conducted in advance of procuring a contractor to build the 1st phase of development on De Beauvoir Estate being delivered by Hackney Council. This will not formally begin the procurement or constitute any commitment by Hackney Council to undertake any procurement exercise. For the avoidance of doubt, this is not a call for competition. The Contract Start Date and End Date are estimated and can be subject to changes.</p> <p>The Council is currently exploring the procurement of a contractor to implement the design and construction of new homes on the De Beauvoir Estate Phase 1 (the Works).</p> <p>It is anticipated that the Works will be procured as a single stage fixed price tender (the Tender) with phasing #and with the possible option of negotiation. The Works will be progressed under a JCT Design and Build Contract 2016 (the Building Contract) with the Council&rsquo;s amendments. The Council will be the Employer for the Building Contract.</p> <p>The purpose of this soft market testing exercise is to allow the Council to engage in early informal dialogue with potential tenderers prior to any formal procurement taking place. If your organisation would like to participate, please complete the questionnaire below and submit it via the ProContract eTendering Portal (the Portal).</p> <p>The deadline for a response is <strong>13:00 pm</strong> on <strong>Thursday 30 September</strong> <strong>2021</strong>.&nbsp; It is anticipated that the tender will be issued in the Spring of 2022.&nbsp; However, for the avoidance of doubt, involvement in the soft market testing exercise does not constitute a guarantee that your company will be invited to tender.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> Keywords: New Homes , Works, Design and Construction , Development
