<p>The Works comprise of the formation of new allotments to facilitate developments unconnected with these Works elsewhere in Kirklees. The new allotments will be leased to existing allotment holders who will transfer to this site on completion. The Works include, but are not limited to: &bull; Creation of new vehicle entrance between 79-83 Ravensthorpe Road. &bull; Formation of car park (including drainage attenuation). &bull; Undertaking of land remediation works including the import of new topsoil. &bull; Management of dust and dirt in respect of the site and on adjacent roads. &bull; Protection from previous contaminated land and mine workings. &bull; Provision of perimeter Palisade fencing and gates. &bull; Provision of site wide water supply to service the new allotment sites. &bull; Exposing and capping off existing mine shaft at approximately 4m depth. &bull; Kerbing and edging. &bull; Reduced level dig by 600mm and cart away of suspected contaminated soils together with import of inert material (100mm) capping layer and 500mm inert topsoil.</p> Keywords: Groundworks, Allotments, Construction
