Tender description

The project will include the construction of a single storey new school building that will consist of 4 classroom including toilets and storage, 2 SET Rooms, Admin & Principal Office, Staff Room, U/A WC/Shower Room, Circulation and Service Rooms See drawing M170-02-03 The works shall involve the following in conjunction with the preliminaries. • Demolition of the existing vacant school buildings and digging out all existing foundations. • Removal of all asbestos as noted within the asbestos reports. • Removal of all hard standing areas, external walls and steps • Crowning and removal of tree`s on site and neighboring properties. See Tree Survey for Reference. • General site preparation and forming of access route and site compound. • Installation of welfare facilities and site office. • Site Clearance – Removal of existing vegetation, kerbing, paving etc • Existing Services – Locating of all existing services including storm/foul drainage, electric/ communications ducting. • Construction of new school including - Footings, Subfloors, Cavity Walls, Structural Framing Members, Structural Support Members, Roof Trusses etc. • Roofing – New insulated roof panels to pitched roofs - Fully bonded roof membrane on rigid insulation flat roofs – Fascia’s & soffits • Drainage – New drains and connection to existing • Storm Water Attenuation with connection to existing storm drainage • Site Works for Services Below Ground • Site Works – Finishes Above Ground including new carpark and drop-off • Mechanical installation – Gas boiler, Gas Tank, Water Storage Tank for Fire tender, Heating, soils and waste, ventilation, hot & cold water pipework, sanitary ware. • Electrical installation – light fittings, sockets, switches, fire alarm, CCTV, lightning protection, solar panels, access control. • Completion of external works including car park and bus drop-off, footpaths, landscaping and play areas, fencing and boundary walls. • Handover of all relevant operations and maintenance details and Safety File informa
