Tender description
The works awarded under this Framework Contract will predominantly take place on bridges and highway network. On occasion, there may be a requirement for other types of civil engineering works including works under Highways Act Section 38 and Section 278 and works off the public highway. Potential works may include, but are not limited to, resurfacing, reconstruction, slurry sealing, drainage works, kerbing, repairs to bridges, retaining walls and culverts, and any other related activity. The geographical scope of this Framework Contract is North and West Yorkshire as detailed in the map below and covers the locations associated with NYCC and other Yorkshire Highways Alliance (YHA) members, namely: • City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council; • Leeds City Council; • Wakefield Council; • Kirklees Council; • City of York Council; and The works awarded under this Framework Contract will predominantly take place on bridges and highway network. Lot 1: Civil: £0-£500k - North Yorkshire & York This lot covers works values between £0 to £500k in North Yorkshire and York. It is anticipated that up to 10 suppliers can be awarded to this lot. Lot 2: Civil: £0-£500k - Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds & Wakefield This lot covers works values between £0 to £500k in Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. It is anticipated that up to 10 suppliers can be awarded to this lot. Lot 3: Civil: £500k to £2m - North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds & Wakefield This lot covers works values between £500k to £2m in North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds & Wakefield. It is anticipated that up to 8 suppliers can be awarded to this lot. Lot 4: Civil: £2m+ - North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds & Wakefield This lot covers works values between £2m+ in North Yorkshire, York, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds & Wakefield. It is anticipated that up to 6 suppliers can be awarded to this lot.
