Supply & Delivery of Fresh/Organic Foodstuffs

Tender description

The Council is re-tendering for the supply and delivery of fresh/organic foodstuffs. This supports the school meals service which has achieved and maintained the Food for Life Gold Standard for over 15 years. The contract will be split into 7 Lots. North Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council will have the option to purchase from any of the Lots at any point during the term of the Contract. Lot 1: Lot 1 - Fresh Meat/Cooked Meat Supply and delivery of fresh meat and cooked meat. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Fresh Poultry Supply and delivery of fresh poultry. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Fresh Fish Supply and delivery of fresh fish. Lot 4: Lot 4 - Fresh Fruit & Vegetables Supply and delivery of fresh and/or organic fruit and vegetables. Lot 5: Lot 5 - Fresh Cows Milk/Milk Products Supply and delivery of fresh and/or organic cows milk and milk products. Lot 6: Lot 6 - Fresh Hens Eggs Supply and delivery of fresh hens eggs. Lot 7: Lot 7 - Dry, Bottled & Tinned Food Stuffs Supply and delivery of dry, bottled and tinned food stuffs, organic where possible, otherwise ethically sourced.
