Appointment of Assessor - Environmental Excellence Scheme

Housing Services within East Ayrshire Council are seeking to enter a partnership with a provider who will assess selected housing estates across East Ayrshire. There will be six key aspects to the inspections to allow Housing and Communities to better understand the following areas: - Administration - The external environment - The internal environment - Waste management - Carbon management - Community participation. The Council would expect the provider to assist with training residents and Housing staff to inspect and assess their own communities in order to bring sustainability and empowerment to the project. Following site visits, inspections and assessments, the provider would be expected to provide Housing and Communities with a detailed report. A further inspection would also be expected around 2 years later to track progress.
