Pump Replacement at Gates, Estates and Old Workshed Facilities at HMP Barlinnie

Tender description

A number of Heating & DHW pumps that serve the Gate Building, Estates Office and the Old Worksheds at HMP Barlinnie are typically in excess of 20 years old and have reached the end of their service life. This project is to provide for the design, supply and installation of new duty and standby heating & DHW system circulating pumps to Gates, Estates and Old Worksheds facilities. The project includes providing new electronically controlled, high efficiency frequency converter motor driven circulating pumps (Energy rating: IE5 energy efficiency class defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)) connected to the site wide Trend BEMS. The Works are required to be completed by 19th November 2021. The SPS shall commence this procurement process in good faith and with the intention of awarding a contract. Following publication of the Contract Notice, an Invitation to Tender (ITT) will be published by SPS and will be made available to bidders on Public Contract Scotland – Tender (PCS-T). Tender responses will then be evaluated by the SPS in accordance with the ITT.
